Thanks for dropping by, and welcome to the new site!

I’m sure I’ll find more things to tweak, but things are looking pretty much as I want them to.  The main purpose of the site is to house my portfolio and links to other places where I’m posting my photography work.  I may still be very new to photography but I’m also very passionate about it and feel it’s important to have an online presence to call home.

I’m currently most active on Google+ but I’ve also begun posting my photos to a Tumblr blog (links to both in the menu on the left).  The idea behind that is so that people have somewhere to go to look at my (pretty much daily) posted photos but without needing a Google+ account.  It also displays the photos quite nicely and gives them a little bit more exposure.

Of course, that leaves the question of what to do with the blog here.  I think that will be reserved for longer articles which probably won’t be written all that frequently, and maybe a photo of the day or photo of the week feature.  Or perhaps a roundup of my weekly photographic adventures.  There are lots of possibilities and I’m still mulling over ideas.

Anyway, make yourself comfy and feel free to take a look around.  Just don’t open that box over in the corner there, I’m not quite sure what I left in there…
